calcium, Ca, kalzium, calcio, calcium metal granule, crystalline calcium, calcium metal shot, calcium metal turning, calcium metal nodules, calcium metal wire, calcium metal pieces, calcium dendritic pieces, calcium, calcium metal ingot, high purity calcium, CAS# 7440-70-2
Chemical Name: Calcium
Chemical Formula: Ca
The metallic element calcium has a silvery color and is harder than sodium but softer than aluminum. The pure element is never found in nature uncombined, rather commonly occurring in limestone (as CaCO3), gypsum (as CaSO4-H2O) and fluorite (as CaF2). Calcium, one of the alkaline earth elements, reacts in air to form a white coating of nitride and reacts with water, alcohol and dilute acids with evolution of hydrogen. Calcium is the fifth most abundant element in the earth's crust.
