Composite Powder General Description:
a) A composite powder is a powder in which each particle consists of two or more distinct materials joined together. It is not the same as a powder blend.
b) A composite coating is a mixture of two or more materials. Many thermal spray coatings could be considered as composites.

a growth of +5% in volume compared to 2009 and with every region showing
positive growth. Following this recovery, the composites industry is expected
to grow on average at 6% per year in value for the next 5 years (5% per year
in volume) from 68 Bn! (7,9 Mt) in 2010 to 90 Bn! (10,0 Mt) in 2015. The shift
from North America and Europe (55% of the worldwide volumes in 2010, 50%
in 2015) to Asia (38% of the worldwide volumes in 2010, 43% in 2015) will
