Vision Statement:

The Reade Advanced Material's (READE) commitment to quality is to provide total customer satisfaction through cost-effective products and services that create value and conform to high standards of quality and integrity. We are very proud that during the Second World War, a previous family manufacturing business unit (Reade Manufacturing Co., Inc.) received two United States Army-Navy "E" Awards for production excellence. On 10 AUG 99, READE received the prestigious National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) "Commitment to Excellence Award".


Our quality system reaches every member of the READE team with objectives that:

  • Endeavor for the design, development, manufacture and support of reliable products that meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

  • Strive to maintain the best environmental, health and safety practices in meeting our responsibilities to the community and our employees.

  • Ensure that all employees understand and conform to the quality requirements of their jobs in an accountable manner.

  • Ensure continuous improvement of all business processes by involvement of people and teamwork at all levels with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Increasingly, our customers are specifying that products be controlled by a management system which complies with ISO 9001:2000. The ISO standards for quality management systems spell out how a firm can establish, document and maintain an effective quality system. At READE, our quality plan conforms to the international standard guidelines of ISO 9001:2000. It means not just standardizing procedures to ensure strict adherence to standards, but continuously reviewing those standards and making a commitment to improve. At READE, quality is not just the result of our efforts. It's an attitude that is inherent in everything we do.

The path toward quality improvement and customer satisfaction starts with a thorough Partnering understanding of customer requirements, but it never really ends. Quality truly has to be an ongoing process and only continuous improvement will allow READE to maintain its long industry leadership. In this regard, READE hopes to go beyond customer satisfaction to serve customers in a true partnership in quality.
