Reade Advanced Materials offers:
Superalloy Powders
General Description:
There are three types of superalloys- Fe-Ni based, Ni based and Co based. These are further divided into cast and wrought. A large number of alloys have been invented and many are patented and trademarked. Reade Advanced Materials (READE) makes a "best efforts" attempt to acknowledge all trademarks. Fe-Ni based are strengthened by intermetallic compound precipitation in a matrix. Ni based superalloys is the most important class. The Co based superalloys are invariably strengthened by a combination of carbides and solid-solution hardeners.

Used in cast, rolled, extruded, forged and powder-processed forms. Numerous aerospace applications (sheet, bar, plate, tubing airfoils, turbine disks, seals, blade retainers, turbine vanes, turbine blade dampers) have continued to be very successful. Also used in cryogenic equipment, orthopedic and dental prostheses.
